Cookie policy
Effective date: 18 October 2026
This policy explains which cookies and which data stored in the browser Ocasio24 (ocasio24.com) uses, and how to change your choice. Who runs the site is on the Legal notice page; how we process personal data is in the Privacy policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work (for example to keep you signed in); others, for analytics, show us how the site is used, and we use them only with your consent. The same applies to data saved in the browser through "local storage" (localStorage).
2. Strictly necessary cookies and data
They do not need your consent, because without them the site cannot work or cannot remember your choices.
| Name | Type | What it is for | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| ocasio24-session | cookie | Your session on the site (login, forms) | 120 minutes of inactivity |
| XSRF-TOKEN | cookie | Protects forms against forged requests | same as the session |
| remember_web_… | cookie | Keeps you signed in if you ticked "Remember me" or signed in with Google or Facebook | at most 400 days |
| theme | cookie and local storage | The chosen theme (light or dark) | 1 year |
| analytics_consent | local storage | Your choice about analytics cookies | until you change it or clear the browser's data |
| compare_items | local storage | The listings you are comparing | until you remove them from the comparison |
3. Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
If you press "Accept" in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. Google receives your IP address, device type and the pages visited. If you refuse, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
| Name | Provider | What it is for | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Tells visitors apart | 2 years |
| _ga_… | Google Analytics | Keeps the state of the visit | 2 years |
We do not use advertising cookies and we do not let other companies place advertising cookies on the site.
4. Maps
Maps are loaded from the OpenStreetMap servers, which do not place cookies but receive your browser's IP address and the map area shown.
5. How to change your choice
You can change your choice at any time through the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted. You can also delete or block all cookies in your browser settings; in that case you may no longer be able to stay signed in.
6. Changes
When we add or remove cookies, we update this page and its date.
